My primary focus will be on sharing the vision of FAIREHR with colleagues, collaborators, and stakeholders involved in local human biomonitoring and Exposomics research. By incorporating FAIR principles into discussions surrounding regional cohort data and health registries, I aim to foster a culture of data interoperability in Hong Kong. This high-level advocacy will help raise the visibility of the registry and encourage seamless collaboration with international standards.

As a public health independent researcher from Morocco, I believe FAIREHR provides a strategic opportunity for researchers across the Middle East and Africa to operationalize FAIR principles within environmental health and human biomonitoring programs. This can rely on harmonized protocols, standardized checklists, interoperable infrastructures, and context-adapted governance frameworks. A key priority for me is strengthening the local capacity of students and young researchers to operationalize FAIR principles across the full research cycle from research design to data collection, data stewardship, and ethical data sharing. All HBM teams in Morocco and Africa are invited to register their studies on the FAIRHR. In synergy with networks such as BIONET, our combined approach will enhance the production and uptake of robust, high-quality, policy-relevant evidence to inform environmental and occupational health decisions across the region.
